Emergency Room Waiting Lists in Lazio

We’ve all been there, it seems to always happen in the small hours of the night. Our children have a scarily high fever, are in pain or we JUST KNOW something is not ok, and we as parents are awash with questions, “Do we go to the emergency room?” , “Will we sit there for hours without seeing anyone and make the situation worse?”, “Which hospital should we go to?”, “Will we be seen faster at a non pediatric hospital because we will be given priority?”

The Regione Lazio now has a website where the number of people in emergency rooms throughout Lazio are listed in REAL time. Hopefully you won’t need to consult this tool anytime soon but we hope it is useful the next time you find yourselves in this situation.
